Meander Art Bar is a vibrant bar and restaurant that doubles as a creative community hub. We offer art supplies for rent or purchase, host regular art workshops, and collaborate with local artists of all experience levels. Our space is designed for exploration, inspiration, and connection—with art, food, and each other.

What We Offer You

  • Free Workshop Space: We never charge a fee for artists or facilitators to use our space for teaching.

  • Artist-Centered Sales: We sell and display local art, and you keep 100% of your sales—no commissions, no fees.

  • Relaxed Creative Vibe: A cozy, welcoming space with food and drink options to enhance the experience.

What We Ask From You

  • Include a $14 Drink Ticket in your workshop registration price.
    This supports our bartenders and ensures Meander remains sustainable while continuing to support artists. (Includes tip and is redeemable for any drink, including mocktails.)

  • Handle Your Own Ticketing, Promo, and Materials:
    We’ll share the event on our Linktree and re-share your promotional content when tagged or added as a collaborator.

Scheduling Your Workshop

  • Hours:
    Open: Noon–10pm (Weekdays)
    11am–Midnight (Weekends)

  • Best Workshop Times:
    Avoid booking during Thurs/Fri/Sat evenings unless your workshop has a festive, party vibe.
    On Sundays, Meander staff teaches 2–4pm, so other Sunday events must be scheduled before or after.

  • First Come, First Served:
    Email us early to reserve your date!

Meander Art Bar is proud to support local artists by offering beautiful, well-lit wall space to showcase your work — with zero fees or commissions. When you exhibit with us, 100% of any sales go directly to you.

Here’s How It Works

🖼️ Display Duration:
Artists display their work with us for up to 4 months. The exact timeline is agreed upon in advance.

💸 Selling Your Art:

  • You handle all sales directly.

  • Include prices and your contact info alongside your work.

  • We do not broker or manage sales.

🧑‍🎨 About the Artist:
Please provide a one-page, framed artist statement to hang near your display. This helps guests connect with your work and story.

Display Requirements

✔ Art must be framed and ready to hang.
✔ Each artist is given 10x10 feet of wall space. (A 10x20 ft. wall is available for a single artist upon request.)
✔ We use a clean hanging system: metal rods with chains and hooks.
✔ You provide: frames and hanging wire.
✔ We provide: hooks and chains.

💡 Lighting:
Track lighting ensures your work is shown at its best.

🚫 Please note:
While we do our best to keep art safe and secure, we are not liable for damage while artwork is hung in our space (though this has never happened).

Opening Reception

Each time a new group of artists hangs work, we host an opening reception to celebrate and showcase your art. It's a great chance to mingle, connect with potential buyers, and share your creative process with our community!
